A Warm Welcome to our new 2019 Cohort!

On behalf of Virgilio Leadership Team, I take the opportunity to extend a warm welcome to our new incoming cohort of 2019.

We have 7 students from UNIMIB, 10 from UNIMI and 9 from HUMANITAS who have joined the program this year.

We are delighted to have such a bright group of future physician-scientists with us.

It’s been a pleasure interacting with you all in the last couple of weeks, understanding your research interests, and aspirations as future physician scientists.

Over the next 3 years you’ll gain mentored research experience in order to explore translational medicine.

I strongly encourage you all to engage with your respective mentors: they are a good source of guidance and advice, have a wide network with individuals in various scientific and clinical fields, and are role models, from whose careers you can get some insights and inspiration to pattern your own path.
