6 Students Team 1 Goal: Scientific Communication VIDEO Recap

During the online course on Scientific Communication for Virgilio Program's 1st Cohort Students, held by Dr. Chiara Gabbi MD PHD, 6 teams presented their communication projects assimilating the course learnings.

We are glad to share their excellent projects!

TEAM 1 - Science & Art

Have you ever thought that stem cells could be seen as a work of art?

"Human Art is the name of the small artistic-scientific exhibition we have created.
In this exhibition we want to present some "scientific work"; through parallels between certain artistic forms and the techniques we have used, with the aim of exploiting these analogies to disseminate scientific concepts that are anything but simple to understand"

TEAM 2 - MEFISTO project

MEFISTOTeam 2 presents MEFISTO project, in which one of their group members was involved during their lab rotation.

MEFISTO, an EU funded project is working on developing innovative ways of using bioactive functionalized material to prevent the onset of osteoarthritis following meniscus loss. Their idea was to develop an informative video using the medium of storytelling, based on real-life person "Stefano".

They tried to communicate how MEFISTO can ultimately help patients like Stefano overcome their disability through a patient centered solution for the personalized regeneration of osteoarticular tissues.
