Anastasia Lalioti, Virgilio 4° cohort student, Humanitas
It has been an honor to be hosted at the Immunomodulation and Tolerance Group Lab at Imperial College London as part of my Virgilio Program. During my placement, I was exposed to ground-breaking translational research, innovative methods for treating allergy and tutoring on scientific publication writing.
During my stay I was fortunate enough to actively participate at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology – EAACI and NHLI conference and observe the research of world- leading experts in the field of Allergy and Immunology.
I am deeply thankful to Prof. Mohamed Shamji and his team for making me feel welcomed and an integral part of their team. I deeply hope we have the chance to collaborate again in the future.
