Virtual Conference in Partnership with European MD/PHD Association
European MD-PhD Association (EMPA) extends an invitation to Virgilio Students to participate in the Virtual Conference on Thursday, April 22nd from 13h to 15h.

Students can apply for a 7 minutes presentation, a great opportunity to gather early feedback on your work and discuss with your peers during our coffee breaks. Every applicant will be considered, ranging from summer interns to PhD students, and selected by EMPA senior advisory board. The deadline for submitting abstracts is Sunday the 18th of April.
The presentations will be held on zoom between 14h15 and 15h GMT+1, on the 22nd of April, just before our General Assembly. They must send their abstracts (1800 characters including spaces) to eumdphdassociation@gmail.com
Presentations need to be research focused, you can show a draft of your thesis work, share results/innovative methods of some research experiments carried out in the lab.
Virgilio students are invited to join EMPA by registering on their website thus you can vote during the General Assembly and elect the executive board 2020-2021. In particular, EMPA is seeking for possible new members, who will fully take over in a year's time. If some of you are interested in joining EMPA's ranks, you can as undergraduates, you are welcome to talk with Dr. Clara Volpe and other team members during the virtual coffee breaks.
